My life has always been focused around art and design. Ever since I was a kid, it's been my passion. I pushed myself from an early age and always had the mentality of "it's not good enough." For better or worse, that has always driven me to do more, reach higher and learn all I can. I was invited to the Missouri Congressional Art Competition for High School students twice, and was on the Dean's List at Devry University. I've never settled for mediocre and I try to translate that into my design, photography, and illustration. Thank for for stopping by my site. Browse freely. I hope we can work together soon!
My yard becomes a tropical paradise in the summer. From banana trees to native wildflowers, they all live together in harmony. Over the years I've collected some 175 varieties of plants. It's a ton of work, but also very rewarding. If there's one thing that gardening has taught me, it's patience. Not everything is going to turn out perfect. You have to let mother nature do what she does best, with just a little help along the way.
Traveling is what makes me feel alive. Discovering new places, tasting new things, and making memories that money can't buy. Although I prefer tropical destinations like Hawaii and Puerto Vallarta, I've also been to Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, and Alaska. All were great experiences. It's true what the Holstee Manifesto says "travel often; getting lost will help you find yourself."
